Our Story

Oak tree behind vineyard in full fall color Mahonia Vineyard was planted over 20 years ago by John D. Miller, one of Salem's sustainable pioneers. We currently run our equipment on locally-sourced, sustainable biodiesel, and use a 16KW solar array for most of our power needs! We are LIVE and Salmon Safe Certified, and are one of the few vineyards in Oregon to participate in Oregon's new Carbon Neutral Challenge.

Currently, we produce approximately 200 cases of highly-acclaimed wines annually, including Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Chardonnay. Our picturesque South Salem location is an ideal location for the vines, and easy to access for tastings!
